三角带在运转中如果有太松或打滑等现象，会造成磨损过快，发热甚烧坏，导致使用寿命缩短。但由于这些设备关系到窑的运转，所以不能对这些运转中的设备停下来进行检查。若能及时发现三角带存在的问题，并且提前做好对策和准备，可减少因为三角带原因而引起的不必要的停窑。
